Hello

My name is Miro Tartan and I’m a graduate graphic designer and illustrator based in the UK. 

I always loved drawing but it took me a long time and support from loved ones to see it as a job. After getting my electronics engineer masters degree, I worked for a few years in that field. While still working there, after getting a graphic tablet for my birthday, I’ve started all sorts of tutorials and reading all the books I could find on graphic design and illustration.

My husband was one of my great supporters in this direction so when I was offered the opportunity to start a job as a graphic designer in a smaller company we were all in.

Since then it was more like a roller-coaster ride with me pursuing a graphic design degree in parallel, raising two kids and moving country. All in all, whether it’s graphic design or illustration, I love every part of it.

As a hobby, I love crafting. Paper crafts, softwood, bookbinding, needle felting, and more, enabled me to spend a lot of quality time with my little ones. We enjoy our board games a lot and I’ve attempted to create a few of our own but their time is still to come.

A nice walk in nature or seeing new places, inspire me to sketch more and have the right set of mind for starting a new creative project.
